'Presented by MAJ VAN DER LINDEN, the exhibition brings together women working across contemporary art, collectible design, and material-based disciplines. Rather than defining strict categories, it celebrates the diversity of contemporary making and the many ways craftsmanship informs artistic and design practices today.
Each participant presents a distinct body of work shaped by individual materials, methods, and ideas. While some practices are rooted in sculpture or fine art and others in collectible design or functional objects, all share a deep commitment to craftsmanship as an essential part of the creative process. Making becomes a language for expression, research, innovation, and reflection.
Through material, process, and experimentation, the works reveal personal narratives alongside broader social and cultural questions. Together, they challenge conventional distinctions between art, design, and craft while opening new perspectives on contemporary material culture.'

Conceived by Julian Daynov in collaboration with the German Embassy in Copenhagen, NEUDEUTSCH ART brings together artists and designers working across painting, sculpture, and object-based practices. The presentation considers contemporary production connected to Germany not as a fixed national category, but as a field shaped by different material approaches, cultural positions, and ways of making.
The participating works move between conceptual precision and material experimentation. Sculpture, painting, and collectible design appear alongside one another, foregrounding the ways objects carry ideas through form, surface, process, and presence. Rather than separating art, design, and craft into distinct disciplines, the presentation allows their methods and vocabularies to remain in dialogue.
Through varied approaches to abstraction, figuration, material research, and spatial composition, the works consider how individual practices can coexist within a shared curatorial setting. It creates a space for slower looking, where differences in scale, material, and intention become part of a wider conversation around contemporary object-based practice.

NOIRE opens onto the intimate space of the bedroom: a place of retreat, memory, rest, and private ritual. It considers our relationship with objects and the quiet emotions that gather around them through daily use, proximity, and attachment.
Between the hollow of a bed, a landscape of sheets, and the shelter of dreams, the room becomes both a physical interior and an imagined space. It is where night is sought—a darkened environment that reveals and conceals, absorbs breath, and attunes itself to shifting desires, solitude, and rest.
The exhibition approaches the bedroom as an atmosphere shaped by intimacy, repetition, and imagination. It evokes rainy mornings, summer evenings, long winter nights, coffee, reading, and poetry: small recurring experiences through which a room becomes familiar and a sense of home takes form.
